All of us at Anam Cara House Colac know how brilliant Diane is as our leader. Her tireless efforts and ability to inspire others have brought to life an entirely new and unique model of care. It was her vision of a place where people with life limiting illnesses are cared for in a homelike environment that created Anam Cara House.
Anam Cara House’s unique model of care, and Diane’s ability to share this with others, has allowed for many health professionals to broaden their experience of health care delivery within the hospice environment. In turn, this has increased the choices in care that is available to guests of the hospice.
Radiating positive energy, Diane is a true inspiration to everyone associated with Anam Cara House. With a genuine interest in all who work with her, whether as a staff member or a volunteer, Diane ensures she is fully supportive, helping them with any challenges in their work or personal life.

SACS Leadership Award
The staff of Anam Cara House put through a nomination to the SACS Leadership Award and we’re so pleased that Diane was shortlisted. Leadership Victoria are currently judging all the award entries with winners announced at the Awards Dinner on 13th September
The SACS Leadership Awards have been running for 11 years and was established to recognise examples of true leadership in communities. Diane certainly fits in with this.
